B’ham Hop is a swing dance community in Bellingham, Washington formed around a shared love of swing-era jazz. At B’ham Hop, we believe that community is built by learning, playing, and celebrating together. When we’re teaching, we actively create a learning environment where collaboration and respect are central to the process.
Every Tuesday night we host swing dance classes (7-8pm) for all skill levels, followed by a dance (8-9:30) at the Hotel Leo Ballroom. We invite live bands to play once a month, and we build community through outreach with performances. Join us any week!
